Nursery management software

Nursery management software is one system for attendance, daily reports, parent messages, fee collection, enrolment and staff, in place of WhatsApp groups and Excel files. Bambini is software of this kind, designed in Arabic first for nurseries and preschools, with a parent app, a teacher app and a dashboard for the office.

What does it cover?

  • Parent app: The child's whole day on the parent's phone: attendance, meals, naps, photos and messages, in Arabic or English.
  • Attendance & pickup: Fast check-in and check-out from the front-desk tablet or the parent phone, with authorised pickups and staff ratios.
  • Daily reports: Log meals, naps, nappies and activities for the whole room in seconds; the daily report reaches parents on its own.
  • Billing & payments: Automatic monthly invoices, reminders and online payment straight to the nursery's account, with clear finance reports.
  • Enrolment: From first enquiry to first day: a public enquiry form, tours, an online application with documents and signature, and a waitlist.
  • Learning: Observations and milestones against your framework (EYFS, Montessori), weekly plans and progress parents can see.
  • Staff: Staff documents and their expiry dates, clock-in and out, leave requests, and each child's key person.
  • Translation & summaries: Messages, announcements and reports translated into each family's language, and daily summaries drafted for the teacher.

How do you choose one?

  1. Try the interface in Arabic yourself: screen direction, invoices and notifications. Automatic message translation does not mean the app itself is in Arabic.
  2. Ask for the full price in your currency: per child or per branch, what the minimum is, and what is sold as an extra.
  3. Check that teachers can keep logging when the internet is weak in the room.
  4. Review your regulator's requirements, such as reports, staff ratios and tax invoices, and ask the vendor which of them it actually covers.
  5. Ask where children's data is stored, who can reach it, and how you get it back if you leave.
  6. Ask for a real trial with a teacher and a parent before you decide, because daily use is what makes it work.

Common questions

How is nursery management software different from WhatsApp?

WhatsApp only carries messages. The software keeps each child's record, attendance, reports and invoices in one place and controls who sees what, so parents' numbers stay private and nothing gets lost in a chat.

How much does nursery management software cost?

Vendors usually price per child or per centre, and some do not publish prices. Bambini charges per enrolled child a month with a minimum, and publishes its prices in KWD, AED and SAR.

Is this worth it for a small nursery?

With one room and a few children, simple tools may be enough at first. The value usually shows when fees become hard to track or parents expect regular daily reports.

Is there free nursery management software?

Limited free tools exist and may suit a small nursery starting out. Bambini is not free forever: it has a 30-day trial with no card, then you pay per enrolled child. When comparing, also count the time saved and who supports you if something breaks.

How does a nursery switch?

At Bambini we move your children, families and staff over for free in about 48 hours, then invite parents and teachers to the app. The 30-day trial needs no card.
