Nursery and children's hospitality centre software in Saudi Arabia
Bambini is Arabic-first software for nurseries and children's hospitality centres, covering attendance, daily reports, parent messages and fees in Saudi riyals. Private centres follow the HRSD regulatory controls, which require daily and monthly parent reports and set supervisor ratios. Bambini does not connect to ZATCA e-invoicing yet.
Children's hospitality centres in Saudi Arabia: the basics
- Regulator
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) for private centres. The controls limit these centres to care and recreational programmes, not the Ministry of Education kindergarten curriculum.
- Size
- Over 1,900 licensed centres and over 60,000 children across 13 regions, per a March 2026 statement.
- Ages
- From birth to age 10, under Article 1 of the controls.
- Supervisor ratios
- One supervisor per 5 children under 2, 10 from 2 to under 4, 12 from 4 to under 6, and 15 from 6 to under 10. At least 2 m² of childcare area per child.
- Parent reports
- A daily report on the child and a monthly report on skills acquired, on ministry-approved forms.
- Cameras
- At entrances, inside and in the courtyard, recording continuously and stored for at least 30 days.
- Licence
- A separate licence for each branch for 5 years, and a full-time Saudi manager. Centres already licensed get 180 days to comply.
- E-invoicing
- ZATCA announced integration wave 25: VAT-subject revenue above SAR 187,500, integrating by 1 February 2027. ZATCA does not name nurseries specifically, so confirm your own position.
How Bambini fits Saudi centres
- A daily report for each child that reaches the parent on its own, and a learning record that helps with the monthly report.
- The staff-to-child ratio is shown for every room, so you can compare it with the required ratios.
- A register of children, attendance and pickups, and staff documents with alerts before they expire.
- Prices and invoices in Saudi riyals, with online payment for parents.
What we do not do yet
- Bambini does not connect to ZATCA yet (phase 2 of e-invoicing). If your business is required to integrate, you need a separate solution today.
- It does not connect to the Qurrah programme or ministry platforms, and does not produce the ministry-approved forms.

What are the supervisor ratios in Saudi children's centres?
Under Article 11 of the controls: one supervisor per 5 children from birth to under 2, per 10 from 2 to under 4, per 12 from 4 to under 6, and per 15 from 6 to under 10. Home-based centres have a maximum of 10 children.
Does Bambini support ZATCA e-invoicing?
Not yet. Bambini issues invoices in the system but does not connect them to ZATCA. If ZATCA notifies you to integrate, you need an approved solution alongside it today.
What is the Qurrah programme?
A Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) programme that supports childcare costs for Saudi mothers working in the private sector, up to 50% of the cost and at most SAR 1,600 per child, with conditions including salary and the child's age. Check HRDF for the current terms.
